Peacock Announces Main Cast for VAMPIRE ACADEMY

Peacock’s Vampire Academy, based on the best-selling book series, has announced its main cast. Here is the official synopsis for the series:

St. Vladmir’s Academy isn’t just any boarding school — it’s a hidden place where vampire royals are educated and half-human teens train to protect them from the savage ‘Strigoi’ vampires who would like to see them destroyed.  

The main cast of the series includes Sisi Stringer as Rose Hathaway, Daniela Nieves will play Lissa Dragomir, Kieron Moore will play Dimitri Belikov, Andre Dae Kim will play Christian Ozera, J. August Richards will play Victor Dashkov, Anita-Joy Uwajeh will play Tatiana Vogel, Mia Mckenna-Bruce will play Mia Karp, Rhian Blundell will play Meredith, Jonetta Kaiser will play Sonya Karp, and Andrew Liner will play Mason Ashford.

What do you think of this casting? Does this make you more excited for the series or are you disappointed in some of the choices? I’m not super familiar with the books, but this seems like it has potential, enough to at least check out the first episode when it airs.
