PEAKY BLINDERS: THE IMMORTAL MAN Trailer Unleashes Guns-Blazing Return of Tommy Shelby

The first trailer for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is here, and it remins fans why Tommy Shelby remains one of TV’s most dangerous icons. The film continues the story of Birmingham’s infamous crime gang with a darker, more volatile edge.

The footage drops audiences straight back into the chaos, with Cillian Murphy once again commanding the screen as Tommy Shelby. Guns blaze, alliances strain, and the scars of past wars.

Murphy has been open about what drew him back into the flat cap. “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me…It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of ‘Peaky Blinders.’

“This is one for the fans,” he said back in June 2024. That sentiment tracks with the trailer’s energy, which feels purpose-built for longtime viewers who’ve been waiting for Shelby business to resume.

Joining Murphy are familiar faces from the series, including Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne, along with Stephen Graham and Ned Dennehy returning as Hayden Stagg and Charlie Strong.

The film also adds some serious acting muscle with newcomers Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan, Tim Roth, and Jay Lycurg.

The movie is directed by Tom Harper, who previously helmed several episodes of the series, keeping the visual language and tone firmly rooted in what fans love. The original show, created by Steven Knight, debuted on the BBC in 2013 before becoming a global hit on Netflix, eventually wrapping up in 2022 after six seasons.

The Immortal Man looks louder, meaner, and clearly designed to give Tommy Shelby a cinematic stage worthy of his reputation. Whether this marks the final chapter or just another bloody chapter in the saga, one thing’s certain. The Shelbys are back, and they’re coming in hot.

The movie is set to hit select theaters on March 6 before streaming on Netflix on March 20.
