Pedro Pascal and Jon Favreau Try and Compare Chilean and American Snack Food

Sometimes it’s fun to see celebrities enjoy food from their native lands and sometimes it’s fun to watch Americans try food from other countries. Below, you can watch an episode of Snack Wars from LADbible TV that features both of those things as Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) and Jon Favreau (The Mandalorian) try both American and Chilean snacks. I have a soft spot for Chilean food as I spent almost a year and a half in Chile in my early 20s. It was a fantastic experience and I have tried everything that Pascal and Favreau eat in the video. Personally, I like Super 8 a lot and think that Favreau was a bit off describing it as similar to Kit Kat. It’s closer to those cheap wafer cookies or the Little Debbie’s Nutty Buddies sans peanut butter. It’s very thin wafers stacked and coated with chocolate and I have fond memories of eating them. Also, the alfajores (the manjar cookies) are really good and surprisingly not super sweet. You’ll definitely want milk or something to drink with it though as the cookie is pretty dry.

Have you ever had these Chilean snacks? What’s your favorite snack from outside the United States?
