Pedro Pascal Is Perfectly Fine with Not Taking Off His Helmet in THE MANDALORIAN
Not long ago there was a ridiculous rumor making the rounds online that The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal was lobbying for more facetime in the series. In fact, the rumor said that Pascal quit after complaining that he was not getting to show his face enough. I never reported on the rumor because I knew it was complete clickbait bullshit.
I’ve still seen a lot of fans talking about this rumor for some reason. Well, Pascal was recently asked about the rumor while talking to BBC series The One Show, and the actor set the record straight and completely debunked the rumor. He is perfectly fine without taking off his helmet in the series.
“That is not true, actually. It’s a really wonderful way of telling the story, it’s always been a very clear creed for the character and the collaborative process of the whole thing has been–we’ve all been on the same page with this, so I, you know, what I want is for them to make the best show possible however they get that done.”
So far, Pascal has removed his helmet twice, and it’s safe to say that as the character evolves in the series he will remove it more. But we’ll find out. Whatever best serves the story is what Pascal wants for the series and character.
