Pedro Pascal Joins Denzel Washington in THE EQUALIZER Sequel

Narcos actor Pedro Pascal has joined the cast Sony's sequel for The Equalizer.

Denzel Washington is confirmed to star in the follow-up to the 2014 film, about a retired black ops government operative who believes he has escaped his past until he meets a young girl under the control of ultra-violent Russian gangsters and can't help but save her.

Antoine Fuqua directed the original, is returning for the sequel, which was written by Richard Wenk. It is also set for release on September 14, 2018.

The Equalizer, based on the TV show of the same name, opened in September 2014 and earned $192.3 million worldwide.

Pascal is best known for his roles on the Netflix series Narcos and HBO’s Game of Thrones.
