Pedro Pascal Jumpstarts The Conversation About a MANDALORIAN Movie
Will Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni’s The Mandalorian series lead to a feature film to bring the story to a close? That is a question that executive producer Rick Famuyiwa was recently asked, and while he said that the decision wasn’t up to him and he doesn’t know, Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal had no problem saying yes.
Pascal jumpstarted The Mandalorian movie conversation, excitedly saying: “I’ll answer for him, yes he wants to. That’s a great idea. And if it isn’t a conversation already, then it will be after today.”
It’d be cool if The Mandalorian series closed out with a film, but you know what? I’d be happy either way. All I want is for this epic Star Wars story to end on a high note. I want it to end with tears and cheers. If the creative team can pull that off, I’ll be happy.
The Mandalorian recently wrapped production on its third season, which is set to continue the adventures of the Mandalorian warrior Din Djarin (Pascal). In the story, Din Djarin and Grogu are off to Mandalore in hopes that he will be "forgiven for his transgressions."
