People's Worst Fears Come to Life in New Trailer for Sandra Bullock's BIRD BOX

Netflix has released a thrilling new trailer for Sandra Bullock’s post-apocalyptic horror film Bird Box. Bullock plays a mother of two children forced to survive and protect them in a world that has been overrun by mysterious creatures that drive people mad by terrorizing them with their worst fears. This madness is so intense that it causes people to kill themselves. The most effective way to survive in this world is for people to keep their eyes closed.

This is unique and sinister film concept, and it looks to me like it’s going to make for an exhilarating thrill ride. I really like what I’ve seen from the footage that has been shared so far. I hope the film turns out to be as good as it looks.

Bird Box was directed by Susanne Bier (The Night Manager), and it also stars John Malkovich, Sarah Paulson, Trevante Rhodes, Jacki Weaver, Rosa Salazar, Danielle Macdonald, Lil Rel Howery, Tom Hollander, Colson Baker, and BD Wong.

Here’s the synopsis:

When a mysterious force decimates the world’s population, only one thing is certain: if you see it, you take your life. Facing the unknown, Malorie finds love, hope and a new beginning only for it to unravel. Now she must flee with her two children down a treacherous river to the one place left that may offer sanctuary. But to survive, they’ll have to undertake the perilous two-day journey blindfolded.

Bird Box hits Netflix on December 21, 2018. Watch the trailer and let us know if you’re looking forward to watching it!
