PET SEMATARY Poster Released and a Trailer is Coming Tomorrow

The first poster has been released for the new adaptation of Stephen King’s terrifying story Pet Sematary. It shows a silhouette of Louis Creed (Jason Clarke) walking into the Pet Sematary with a shovel and it comes with the tagline, “Sometimes Dead Is Better”, which as you know, is a classic line from the story.

It was also announced that the first trailer for the film is going to drop tomorrow, so we’re finally going to get to see if directors Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kölsch are going to be able to tap into the horror of the story and scare the shit out of us! I’m excited to see how this turns out!

Based on the seminal horror novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.

Pet Sematary also stars John Lithgow as Jud Crandall and Amy Seimetz as Rachelis and it’s set to be released in theaters on April 19, 2019.
