Pete Davidson Set to Star in The New Horror Thriller THE HOME From the Director of THE PURGE

Pete Davidson (Saturday Night Live) is set to star in a new horror-thriller project coming from the director of The Purge, James DeMonaco. The movie is titled The Home, and it sounds like it’ll be a fun and creepy flick.

In the film, Davidson will play Max, “a troubled man who starts working at a retirement home and realizes its residents and caretakers harbor sinister secrets. As he investigates the building and its forbidden fourth floor, he starts to uncover connections to his own past and upbringing as a foster child.”

Davidson is actually a decent actor who has made some good films such as Big Time Adolescence and The King of Staten Island. It’ll be fun to see him lead a horror movie!

Producer Bill Block shared in a statement, “We’re excited to be backing DeMonaco’s brilliant vision. James’ The Purge horror franchise has grossed over $450 million at the worldwide box office. With his masterful storytelling abilities and Pete’s versatility as an actor, this film will put audiences everywhere on the edge of their seats.”

The movie is set up at Miramax, and DeMonaco is working on the script with Adam Canto. Production on the movie is set to begin later this month.

What do you all think about Pete Davidson as an actor, and the fact that he will star in this horror movie?
