Peter Capaldi Still Isn't Sure If He'll Be the Doctor Past 2017

Peter Capaldi hasn't decided whether or not he's done with Doctor Who after his contract is up in 2017. A new report from CBR claims the question of whether to stay or go is completely up to Capaldi, as BBC has indicated they would like him to remain attached to the series...

“I’ve been asked to stay on and I haven’t made my mind up about that yet, mainly because I don’t want to have to make that decision…I’m trying to avoid it!”

Personally, I want Capaldi to stick around and see what he can do with the new showrunner Chris Chibnall. I think a majority of the unpopular segments of Capaldi's run have been primarily due to poor writing and a burnt out Steven Moffat. There are a couple episodes where Capaldi put on an iconic performance ("Into The Dalek" and "Hell Bent," the season nine finale, were amazing) that I think he's more than capable of repeating when given strong storylines.

Do you think Capaldi should stick around past 2017, or is it time to move on?
