Peter Jackson is Reportedly Deciding if He Should Make a DC Film or Jump Back into Middle Earth
A rumor has surfaced from The One Ring regarding Lord of the Rings and Hobbit director Peter Jackson and his next project. According to the site, Jackson is in the middle of making a decision on two possible projects that he has the opportunity to be a part of.
One of those projects is a DC film project. Warner Bros. apparently would like to see him jump into the DC Universe and do something with it. We have no idea what that project might be, but I could see him playing with the darker side of the universe like Justice League Dark. I think he would probably make an awesome Swamp Thing movie!
The other project that he is looking to take on is Amazon's upcoming billion dollar Lord of the Rings/Middle Earth series. We know that they've invited Jackson to be a part of it, but he obviously still has yet to make a decision on that.
Decisions are being made by Peter Jackson and his NZ crew:

I would love Jackson to take on both of these projects! It would be fun to see him play with the DC Universe but it would also be great to see him jump back into Middle Earth! It doesn't look like he'll be doing both, though. It will be one or the other.
We've already seen what he could do with Tolkien's work, so it might be better to see him do something different this time around. So DC might be the way to go. But, if he did decided to work on Amazon's Middle Earth series, I wouldn't complain.
Which of these properties would you like to see Peter Jackson take on next?
