I personally consider all three of The Lord of the Rings films as one long movie and I love the all the same. Don’t make me choose one!
But Peter Jackson, the director behind the epic fantasy trilogy, has revealed his personal favorite from the beloved trilogy.
In a recent interview with Letterboxd promoting the release of The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, Jackson reflected on his journey adapting J.R.R. Tolkien’s work.
While discussing his relationship with the films, Jackson admitted he’s not big on rewatching his own work. However, when pressed about which installment stood out to him, he cautiously revealed:
"The Two Towers, I think. But if I see them again I might have a totally different one."
Jackson’s choice of The Two Towers might not come as a surprise to many fans. With its breathtaking battle sequences and deeper dives into the characters' journeys, it’s pure cinematic greatness!
