Petrify Your Enemies as a Medusa in the MISTRESSES OF STONE Supplement for DUNGEONS & DRAGONS

I love looking at some of the supplements that fans have made for Dungeons & Dragons. Today’s featured supplement is Mistresses of Stone: A Playable Medusa Race for Ravnica by D.E. Chaudron. Now, some of you may start thinking that Medusa was the name of a prominent gorgon in Greek Mythology, not the name of the race. You’d be correct. However, in the world of D&D, gorgons are bulls that breathe poison while Medusa are beings with snake hair that can turn people into stone. Another thing to note is that while it says, “Race for Ravnica,” this race can be used outside of the Ravnica setting.

With all of that out of the way, what do you get? Well, you get the ability to petrify enemies for starters. You also get to roleplay a character with snake for hair (that sounds pretty awesome). As far as Ability Scores, you’ll get a +2 to Dexterity and +1 to Intelligence, so you probably don’t want your Medusa to be a Barbarian.

You can find Mistresses of Stone over on the DMs Guild for $1.
