Phil Abraham Set to Direct and Produce Spy Adventure Series at Netflix Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger
Phil Abraham (Daredevil, Orange is the New Black) has been tapped to direct and executive produce the pilot episode of Netflix’s untitled spy adventure series that is set to star Arnold Schwarzenegger, will also executive produce. This will be Schwarzenegger’s first major TV series role after a long career of action films.
“The series is about a father and daughter who learn that they’ve each secretly been working as CIA Operatives for years. They realize their entire relationship has been a lie and truly don’t know one another at all. Forced to team up as partners, the series tackles universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spies, action and humor.”
This sounds a little like Schwarzenegger’s movie True Lies, where his characters leads a double life and his wife gets involved. If you’ve never seen it, you should check it out. It’s a really fun movie! Hopefully this series is also a good time. It sounds like it will be. We will keep you posted as the series develops at Netflix.
