Phil LaMarr to Suit Up as Green Lantern in Parody Series SUPERHERO DIARIES

Superhero Diaries is getting ready to launch a brand new season on July 21, and there’s one item in particular that is sure to get superhero fans excited. The series is all about parody of popular pop culture characters and was created by Scott Zakarin.

The thing that makes this season crazy is that Phil LaMarr will play the role of Green Lantern. This is amazing as LaMarr voiced John Stewart in the popular animated series Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. Other cast members of the series include Patrick Bristow, Don Jeanes (Budweiser Super Bowl commercials), Hannah Kat Jones (Austin & Ally), and many more

Uniquely celebrating the superhero boom, this action-packed new bi-weekly series presents a fantastic mash-up of comedy, fights and campy satirical situations, turning the multiverses upside down as never before. Putting the camp back into the multiverse, viewers will get a total of 30 episodes over 10 weeks.

SUPERHERO DIARIES soft launched in early 2021, with advance episodes produced during the height of the pandemic, necessitating that talent record alone and only work together via green screen and editing (sadly, not even Dr. Fauci was able to parody the pandemic). With this official debut, the fantastic satire series is now able to bring actors together on-set, to parody the multiverse galaxies, in ways that could never actually happen… but do.
