Photo of Jim Henson's Creature Shop Working on Blumhouse's FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S Movie
Blumhouse has been developing a feature film adaptation of the classic horror game Five Nights at Freddy’s with creator Scott Cawthon. This project has been in development for a few years now, and according to producer Jason Blum, the reason it’s been taking so long is because they’ve been having issues cracking the story.
Well, the producer recently shared a photo on Twitter featuring a behind the scene shot of Jim Henson’s Creature Shop working on the film. The image came with the caption: “It’s great to be working with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. Their experience and expertise with animatronics is absolutely killer!”
The photo features an artist working on an animatronic, and it looks like it could be the character Freddy Fazbear. Freddy is the main antagonist of Five Nights at Freddy’s.
In the Five Nights at Freddy’s game, you take on the role of a night watchperson and sit around keeping an eye on the security cameras for an animatronic pizza party nightmare place called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. The animatronic nightmares have a tendency to come to life at night and try to murder you.
This movie has the potential to be a fun horror film, and I love that Jim Henson’s Creature Shop will be working on developing the film! While we wait for the film to get made and released, we can always enjoy Nicolas Cage’s Willy’s Wonderland!
