Pianist Plays Movie Themes For HARRY POTTER, LORD OF THE RINGS and PIRATES in Ragtime

Movie themes are important. They help set the tone for the film and they are one of the most recognizable parts of any movie. What if you changed the style of the theme though? What if they were performed like a metal song or what if they were done in Ragtime? You get a very different experience. Jonny May recently took three themes from famous movies and performed them in ragtime.

• “Hedwig’s Theme” from Harry Potter

• “He’s a Pirate” from Pirates of the Caribbean

• “The Shire Theme” from Lord of the Rings
