PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 5 — Kaya Scodelario In Talks For Female Lead

I completely skipped the fourth Pirates of The Caribbean film and my only interest in the fifth film is because of the directors Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg. They directed a movie called Kon-Tiki, which a must-watch film.

There seems to be some movement on the movie. Disney is looking at talented young British actress Kaya Scodelario for the female lead. Many people know her from the show Skins (UK) or last year's The Maze Runner. She was also in a great indie film The Truth About Emanuel which I saw at Sundance.

Pirates of the Caribbean 5 has been a long-gestating film and from what I remember has had several script rewrites thus far. I can't wait to watch a Rønning and Sandberg film, even if it's Pirates 5. I'm hoping they recapture the magic of the first film, which I love.
