Pixar's Upcoming Film, SOUL, is Coming in 2020 and There Are Story Details

Disney has announced that Pixar’s upcoming film, Soul, will be released in theaters on June 19th, 2020. Soul is the second Pixar film that will be released next year. The first will be Onward, which will come out on March 6th.

As for what story Soul will tell, this is the brief synopsis that was released:

Ever wonder where your passion, your dreams and your interests come from? What is it that makes you… YOU? In 2020, Pixar Animation Studios takes you on a journey from the streets of New York City to the cosmic realms to discover the answers to life’s most important questions.

Well, that sounds like it’s going to be an interesting film that dives into some deep themes and questions! Soul is being directed by Pete Docter (Up, Inside Out), so the film is in good hands.

Pixar is about to released Toy Story 4 in theaters and I have no doubt that fans are going to love it. The movie is being flooded with great reviews and the film deserves the praise. I thought it was another fantastic and emotional story for these wonderful characters.

Pixar has a great track record for pumping out one hit after another and I’m looking forward to seeing their upcoming films. Soul certainly has an intriguing concept and I’m really curious to see how the subject matter is handled.
