Play a Truly Solo Game of D&D with THE SOLO ADVENTURER'S TOOLBOX Parts 1 and 2
Sometimes you want to play Dungeons & Dragons but it’s hard or impossible to get a group together. In those instances, you can still try to play using The Solo Adventurer’s Toolbox from 5E Solo Gamebooks. This is an unofficial supplement that aims to provide you with the tools needed to run a 5E session by yourself.
No other players, no DM, truly solo. This toolbox is available now through DMs Guild (affiliate link) and the team moire recently released The Solo Adventurer’s Toolbox Part Two: The Toolbox Expanded. This is a companion supplement that build on the first so you’ll want to grab both. Part Two adds more tables, new non-combat encounters, and even new systems for solo play among other additions. This sounds like an incredible resource to have.
The idea is that this book will give you the tools to add more richness to your game. If you are already solo gaming, it also provides you with a few alternate systems to try. There are other resources that contain similar tools to those contained herein. However, there are only a handful of resources that contain the breadth of solo-specific resources presented here.
You can purchase Part Two from DMs Guild (affiliate link) for $14.95 for the PDF version. There are also physical copies available as well as a version for Fantasy Grounds.
