It has been too long since our last state of play, but we’ve been treated with another round of trailers, updates, and a few reveals. Let’s get started!

Crash is coming to PS5 in 4K, at 60 FPS. Players can also move their save-data from the PS5 and a plan will be posted for those who have already purchased the game on the PS4 to upgrade. The PS5 update will be rolled out on March 12th.

Returnal

We see a real look at the gameplay of this sci-fi adventure. You play as an astral scout who comes to a planet, again and again, exploring the world, dealing with the world’s mysteries, and combating crazy aliens. Between quick movements and 3rd person shooter combat, it looks like the action will be fast and dangerous. With every death, the world will change, enemies will be different, so this is looking to have many roguelike elements inside the deep story and exhilarating combat.

Knockout City

A colorful, team-based dodge-ball game on crack. The game will have 1v1 and 3v3 modes with a cross-play beta coming soon. Its release date is set to be May 21st.

Sifu

Want to control a martial arts master? Sifu looks like a brutal action game where each motion, hit, dodge, and parry is heavily controlled and thought out. It also looks like the player with getting stronger and wiser with age. It is set to come later this year.

Solar Ash

This stylish 3D platformer looks to focus on movement flow, exploration, and smooth combat. Along with a beautiful and gorgeous style and epic boss fights, this looks to be an experience to have on the nicest and biggest TV you can find. The release window is sometime later this year.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach

To change up the formula, FNAF is becoming a first-person horror survival game. While the world may be colorful, the scares won’t be so nice. Freddy is coming back this year.

Odd World: Soulstorm

The Odd World is back with 2.9D platforming, heartbeats in the haptic feedback, and lots of more crazy features. Players will also try and save 1000 workers that can help solve puzzles, fight enemies, and more. There will also be looting, crafting, and possession of enemies. It is set to release on April 6th.

Kena: Bridge Of Spirits

Looking like it was pulled directly from a Pixar movie, this action-adventure with loads of story and cool combat is shaping up to be an amazing game. The new release date is set for August, 24th.

Deathloop

Not much more has been added to our knowledge of the game, but we do get a stylish and fun look at new abilities, guns, and environments. No release window yet.

Final Fantasy VII: Remake Intergrade

YUFI IS HERE! She’s coming to FFVII: Remake with Sonon in a new chapter. The PS5 upgraded version will include better textures, new fog effects, improved lighting, and faster loading time. Also, there will be improved stabilization of 60 FPS and 4K resolution. A photo mode will be added and anyone who owns it on PS4 can upgrade to the PS5 version on June, 10th for free.
