Plex is expanding its territory in the streaming game as the company recently purchased new streaming service Watchup. Watchup is most known for being an aggregate that centralizes hundreds of news programs like CNN, Vox, and CBS News under one umbrella for people to digest.

With the acquisition, Plex expands its attractive software that is being utilized by those cutting the cord around the nation. I'm still not brave enough to pull the trigger, but I know several friends and family members who have done so with no regrets.
