Pointcrow's Twitch Chat Beats BREATH OF THE WILD (with a Little Help from the Streamer)

Some gamers use Twitch to let their viewers play games. The most famous example of this was years ago with Twitch Plays Pokémon. The viewers were able to play through Pokémon Blue or Red by voting on commands through the chat. Now, the channel is still live, but it’s not as popular, but a similar experiment was recently done over on Pointcrow’s channel. Pointcrow let his viewers play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and somehow they actually managed to beat the game.

Now, one little caveat, Pointcrow would alternate control with the chat every 5-10 minutes or so. This let Pointcrow point the chat in the right direction, but it also let him put the chat in dangerous ones as well. There are times where Pointcrow would purposefully put the chat in danger right as his time ran out such as right in front of a Guardian.

As you might imagine, there’s a lot of chaos that ensues (people have a real fondness for back flips). This does make it feel a lot more remarkable when things actually go right though like when they do parry the Guardian’s beam or a Flurry Rush against a Lynel. Pointcrow does stay positive throughout though and does his best to coach the chat as they played together.

You can check out a 52-minute best of video below but be warned that there’s a lot of language.
