POKEMON GO Had A Bit Of A Comeback Over The Summer

It never fails. You’ll be having a conversation with a group of people and Pokemon Go somehow works its way into the conversation. You talk about how you haven’t played it in a long time and the game is dead, and someone immediately contradicts you and says they’re still playing. It’s happened to me more times than I can count in recent memory, and now I finally know why.

Pokemon Go may not be as popular as it once was, but Engadget reports the game saw a growth of 35% over the summer. The surge was the largest increase in players the game has seen since 2016, and seems to be tied to the trading feature that was introduced over the last couple months.
