POKEMON LABYRINTH Review

Pokémon Labyrinth is a great reskin of a good family game. Use the tiles to create a pathway to the Pokémon you are searching for in the ever changing labyrinth. Once you find all the Pokémon you need, make your way back to the start and you win. This version is definitely one of the better made themed versions.

For one thing, you have actual character cut outs with stands to play as rather than just colored cylinders. The cards for showing you which Pokémon to find are Pokéball shaped which is a nice touch. I do find it a little strange that almost all of the Pokémon you search for are the starters with a few exceptions. It’s just strange because there are some real fan favorites that are missing from the game.

Personally, I think it would have been more fun to have it be made up of various legendary Pokémon, or have no theme and just grab a few favorites from each generation. If you haven’t picked up a copy of Labyrinth yet and like Pokémon, I do highly recommend grabbing this one. I give it an 8/10 for being a good game and a well done reskin of the game.
