POKÉMON MYSTERY DUNGEON: RESCUE TEAM DX Gets a New Trailer and Reveals New Pokémon Have Been Added

Last month, Pokémon fans were shocked when Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX was revealed. The spin-off games weren’t on anyone’s radar, and yet now they’re being remade for the Nintendo Switch. With less than a month until the game’s release, we have a new trailer and a bit of new information. Over 400 Pokémon will be available in the game including Mega Evolutions of fan favorites as well as evolutions that weren’t discovered when the original games released. We’re also told that there are “many other surprises waiting to be discovered!”

Throughout your quest, you’ll need to plan strategically to build a well-balanced team of Pokémon to challenge any foes you might face. Your Pokémon will have a range of moves at their disposal, and each one can learn four moves at a time. Some moves, like Thunder Shock, allow you to damage foes directly in front of you, while other moves can heal your team members. Some moves like Growl and Smokescreen provide special effects that interfere with your opponents’ attacks. It’ll be up to you to prepare wisely and think tactically as you proceed.

If you’re curious if the game is any good, there’s a free demo available. I’ll admit that I was surprised by how much fun I had with the demo, so it’s worth at least trying. Are you excited for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX to launch on March 6?
