POKÉMON TCG Announces New VIVID VOLTAGE Expansion Set
Pokémon recently announced a new expansion for the Pokémon TCG. Dubbed Sword & Shield – Vivid Voltage, Pokémon Trainers will be able to add the power of the mythical Zarude to their teams as well as VMAX versions of Pikachu, Orbeetle, and Coalossal. In addition, a new type of card will be released called Amazing Pokémon. Amazing Pokémon will be Legendary and Mythical Pokémon that are illustrated with “vividly rainbow backgrounds that extend outside of the frame, as well as foil and etched details.” The only confirmed one right now is Celebi. They will also have a special rarity symbol.
The full expansion includes the following:
6 Amazing Pokémon
6 Pokémon VMAX
11 Pokémon V and 13 full-art Pokémon V
16 Trainer cards and seven full-art Supporter cards
Four new Special Energy cards
Vivid Voltage will release on November 13 with booster packs, decks, Elite Trainer Boxes, and special collections available.
