POKEMON: THE FIRST MOVIE Gets an Honest Trailer

Pokemon: The First Movie was a big deal when it came out in 1998. For Pokemon fans, it was all we could ever dream of. Well, now Screen Junkies has decided to give it an Honest Trailer, and while it was fun, they missed a couple of big things. For starters, they didn’t mention the fact that the movie talks about how fighting is wrong and the characters learn this only to then have their memories wiped and the lesson unlearned. Also, how did they not bring up the biggest quote from the film that is freaking inspirational (and a meme):

I see now that the circumstances of one’s birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.

Now watch the trailer and enjoy. I still enjoy watching this film although my favorite was Pokemon: The Movie 2000.
