POKÉMON GO's Celebi Research Will Be Available Next Week

Pokémon GO announced yesterday that the second Mythical Pokémon, Celebi, will be available via a Special Research quest on August 20. 

Players are expected to take on tasks that aim to test their skills as a trainer and earn XP plus unique items along the way. The Special Research on Celebi can be unlocked as long as the player completes the third set of tasks associated to the Special Research on Mew. 

Celebi was initially released last month to the 21,000 Pokémon GO players who were able to attend the Chicago Go Fest Event. However, these players can still partake on the Special Research for Celebi, which will award them with power-up candies for the time travel Pokémon. 

Moreover,  a special gear, in the form of a Celebi themed T-shirt is now available at the Style Shop for free. Several avatar items from Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver are also available in the Style Shop, which will feature outfits that can be unlocked depending on the player’s Johto medal progress. 

Pokémon GO is now available to all Android and iOS devices.
