Pokémon Home Updates For More Game Compatibility

Pokémon Home has announced that a new update will be rolled out in the coming weeks that will include many new features. First up, it will become compatible with Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl, Sword, Shield, Let’s Go Pikachu!, Let’s Go Eevee!, and Pokémon GO.

Pokémon caught in other games loaded into Legends: Arceus will appear in Strange Balls and Pokémon from Legends: Arceus will all appear in regular Poke Balls. When you first link up with Legends: Arceus you will receive Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott with maximum effort. Linking with Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will give you Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup with Hidden Abilities.

Some obvious features are that moves that your Pokémon know that they cannot learn in other games will not transfer over with them, however they will resume knowing their original move set even if you change it up in a different game. Also keep in mind that special Pokémon that can only be caught once in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl can only be uploaded to Pokémon Home once per save data.

New stickers and achievements based on Legends: Arceus and Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will also be added. Lots of new stuff, but pretty exciting for everyone who has been waiting for these new compatibilities to be made.
