POLTERGEIST Preview with Sam Raimi and Gil Kenan
We’ve got a new preview for you to watch for the upcoming new take on the classic horror movie Poltergeist. It includes footage from the film along with some commentary by producer Sam Raimi and director Gil Kenan on reintroducing the story and making it accessible to modern audiences.
Poltergeist is a contemporary take of the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces. When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and hold the youngest daughter captive, the family must come together to rescue her before she disappears forever.
The cast for the film includes Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt (Kill the Messenger, The Odd Life of Timothy Green), Jared Harris (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Mad Men), Saxon Sharbino (Trust Me), and Jane Adams (Hung, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), along with 8-year-old Kennedi Clements as Madison.
