We've also got details on the six story segments that will make up the film thanks to The Playlist:

James Franco’s wannabe bank robber gets his due and then some. And just a little bit more for good measure.

Lugubrious dark humour pervades the Liam Neeson starrer Meal Ticket, a gothic tale about two weary travelling performers.
All Gold Canyon

Tom Waits mines a rich seam of humour.
The Gal Who Got Rattled
Bill Heck (Billy Knapp)
Zoe Kazan (Alice Longabaugh)

The Mortal Remains
Brendan Gleeson (Irishman)
Tyne Daly (Lady)
Jonjo O’Neill (Englishman)

Chelcie Ross (Trapper)
Ghostly laughs haunt this segment as Tyne Daly rains judgment upon a motley crew of strangers undertaking a final carriage ride.
I love the films of Joel and Ethan Coen and they have written and directed each of the six segments in the film. These are two of my favorite filmmakers in Hollywood with such a wonderful talent for telling stories developing fun quirky characters.
The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is a Netflix film that is slated for a theatrical release on November 16th.
