Poster Art for FIELD OF DREAMS Created by Artist Adam Rabalais
Here’s a wonderful poster art print for the classic 1989 baseball film Field of Dreams. This is one of my favorite sports movies of all time. It also happens to be a movie that reminds me of my grandpa, who was a hell of a ball player back in the day. They just don’t make movies like this anymore.
This print was created by artist Adam Rabalais for Hero Complex Gallery. It’s a limited edition print of only 150, and the 24x36 print can be purchased for $70 if you want one.
The fantasy sports film was directed by Phil Alden Robinson. The story revolves around Ray Kinsella, played by Kevin Costner, a farmer who hears a mysterious voice instructing him to build a baseball field in his cornfield. Despite skepticism from his family and community, Ray follows the strange guidance. Not long after, legendary baseball players from the past, including Shoeless Joe Jackson, emerge from the cornfield to play baseball.
The story sees Ray embark on a journey to understand the significance of the field and what its purpose is. The film explores elements of redemption, second chances, and the enduring magic of baseball.
