Poster Art For Marvel's I AM GROOT and Premiere Date Announced

Marvel Studios has released the first poster for Marvel’s upcoming animated Disney+ series I Am Groot, and they’ve also announced that the series will premiere on August 10th, 2022.

I Am Groot is a series of shorts that will focus on “Baby Groot” as he gets into hijinks, and it will introduce fans to several new and unusual characters. The poster features Groot just chillin’ and listening to Peter Quill’s Walkman while two tiny CG creatures watch him.

Vin Diesel returns to voice Groot and Guardians of the Galaxy franchise director James Gunn is executive producing.

There’s no word on what other characters will be a part of the series, but it looks like something Guardians of the Galaxy fans are going to enjoy.
