Poster Art For Peter Jackson's BRAINDEAD Created By Artist Suspiria

Here’s an awesome piece of poster art for Peter Jackson’s classic 1992 gory blood-fest of a horror film Braindead, which is also known as Dead Alive.

This poster was created as a private commission, so unfortunately, we can’t buy it. But it was created by an artist who goes by the name of Suspiria.

Set in 1950s New Zealand, the film follows the story of Lionel Cosgrove, a timid young man who lives with his overbearing mother, Vera.

When Lionel's mother is bitten by a Sumatran rat-monkey at a zoo, she contracts a deadly and bizarre virus that turns her into a grotesque zombie.

Despite Lionel's efforts to keep her condition hidden, Vera's increasing hunger for human flesh leads to an uncontrollable outbreak of zombies in their small town.

As the zombie infection spreads, Lionel finds himself in a desperate battle to contain the chaos while protecting his budding romance with Paquita, a local shopkeeper.

The film is renowned for its over-the-top gore, slapstick humor, and absurdly creative special effects. Braindead is a wild and unrestrained ride.
