Poster for Neill Blomkamp's Sci-Fi Film CHAPPIE
Sony Pictures has released a new poster for Neill Blomkamp's upcoming sci-fi comedy Chappie. You should also know that the trailer will officially be released tomorrow, so stay tuned for that! It will be great to see some footage from this film to get a better idea of what the director of District 9 has in store for us this time.
After being kidnapped by two criminals during birth, Chappie becomes the adopted son in a strange and dysfunctional family. Chappie is preternaturally gifted, one of a kind, a prodigy. He also happens to be a robot.
Sharlto Copley plays the title role in the movie through the art of performance capture technology. It also stars Hugh Jackman, Dev Patel, Sigourney Weaver, Ninja, Yolandi Visser, Jose Pablo Cantillo, and Brandon Auret.
The film, which was written by Blomkamp and his wife Terri Tatchell, will be released in theaters on March 6th, 2015.
