Poster For Steven Spielberg's New Film THE FABLEMANS
The first poster has been released for Steven Spielberg’s upcoming film, The Fablemans, which is described as “a semi-autobiographical project, drawing from Spielberg’s time growing up in Arizona.”
We really don’t have any details to share on the story, but the film has a great cast that includes Michelle Williams, Seth Rogen, Paul Dano, Julia Butters, and newcomer Gabriel LaBelle. Williams and Dano will play characters inspired by Spielberg’s parents, while Rogen’s role is influenced by Spielberg’s uncle. LaBelle stars as aspiring filmmaker Sammy, a Spielberg analog, while Butters portrays his sister, Anne.
The rest of the ensemble also features Judd Hirsch, Sam Rechner, Oakes Fegley, Chloe East, Jeannie Berlin, Robin Bartlett, Jonathan Hadary, Isabelle Kusman, and director David Lynch (Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive).
Spielberg also co-wrote the script Tony Kushner, who has worked with Spielberg on films such as West Side Story, Munich, and Lincoln.
The Fabelmans is expected to be released on November 23, 2022. But, it is set to have its world premiere at Toronto International FIlm Festival this weekend.
