POWER RANGERS: BATTLE FOR THE GRID Announces Online Lobbies, PS4 Cross Play, and More with Update 2.0

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is a fun fighting game featuring everyone’s favorite team of teenagers in spandex. Today, the game is getting it’s 2.0 update and it’s a big one. Over the last year, Battle for the Grid has really filled itself out and this update offers some things that fans have been asking for since the start.

First, players will now be able to create online lobbies. Here, up to 8 friends can meet and play against each other in up to four concurrent matches being fought. This also will allow friends to spectate each other’s matches. I’ve been seeing requests for this feature since the launch a year ago.

Second, the update that I’m most excited for is more cross-play. PS4 players now enter the world of cross-play allowing for players to fight each other without respect for platform. It doesn’t matter if you’re on the Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, or Xbox One. All players can fight each other and have a great time! This is going to be great!

According to nWay, the update will go live today, but no specific time has been given to me.
