POWER RANGERS: BATTLE FOR THE GRID Announces Season 3 Characters

Sunday evening, nWay revealed details for Season 3 of Power Rangers: Battle of the Grid. The official reveal shows us that Lauren Shiba of Super Samurai is finally coming to the game and RJ of Jungle Fury will be joining the fight alongside a mystery third character. Now, I find it funny that they say it’s a mystery but show us their silhouette. It’s clearly Scorpina, the on again off again girlfriend of Goldar and villain to the Mighty Morphin team. Now, I’ll be honest, while I’m a little sick of all the MMPR content, I am happy to see Scorpina get to do something.

The three new characters aren’t the only things coming to Battle for the Grid though. Fans will also get the Phantom Beast King skin for Dai Shi. In addition, there are two awesome things that will be available for free for all players. First, the Samurai Megazord will be a new Ultra that characters can choose from. Second, they’re revamping the Ultra system. Right now, players have to wait until one of their characters is knocked out before they can activate their Ultra. However, when the update goes live, there will be a Megazord Revenge Meter which will be used to summon your Ultra.

I’m really excited for all of these updates for Battle for the Grid. Sadly, we don’t have a release date for any of this other than, “Coming Soon.” Which of the three new characters are you most excited to use? Battle for the Grid is available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
