POWER RANGERS: HEROES OF THE GRID Latest Kickstarter Is Live Now

Power Rangers fans, it’s finally here! The Kickstarter for the next batch of expansions for Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid is now officially live. Through the Kickstarter, you can get the new Machine Empire villains ($40), Rise of the Psycho Rangers expansion with a lot to add to the game ($60), both plus a card storage box ($100), or literally everything released to date for the game including previous Kickstarter exclusives ($625).

There are still some details that are being released throughout the campaign, but we’ll do our best to hit some of the big ones. The Machine Empire villains are introducing a new concept to Heroes of the Grid of paired monsters. It looks like some games will feature deploying both Prince Gasket and Princess Archerina. That sounds like it’s going to make things tough. Also, I was surprised that Louie Kaboom was a boss and the prince and princess were only monsters. Am I misremembering something?

Meanwhile, Rise of the Psycho Rangers is bringing the five core In Space Rangers, six Psycho Rangers, and Quantrons into the mix! This is awesome! The new Zords are the Mega Voyager Zords, and there are some cool add-ons. Fans are being teased about Scheme cards, and we also are getting a combat marker, three new board locations, and a double-sided combat grid board. I love it when expansions add quality of life upgrades. Of course, there’s also the new Mastermind Mode that lets one player control the villains and turn this game into a competitive one.

The Card Storage Box will be available as an add-on for $25 and is the perfect solution for storing your cards. It comes with 115 standard sized dividers, nine tarot-sized dividers, and 204 stickers. Now if only they could come up with a storage solution for all the miniatures.

The new Kickstarter is running until May 26 ,and the plan is to ship out all pledges to be delivered in September. These are some great add-ons, and I can’t wait to add them to my collection.
