Pre-Order MARVEL VILLAINOUS: INFINITE POWER Now
Disney Villainous is a fun board game that lets you be the villain of Disney films like Hades, Mother Gothel, Ursula, and many more. Well, this month, a new game featuring Marvel villains is being released. Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power features five new villains from the Marvel universe to the game with Thanos, Hela, Ultron, Taskmaster, and Killmonger. I’m a little surprised Loki didn’t make the cut if I’m honest.
Now, it appears that Infinite Power is supposed to launch a new game series probably with more expansions on the way instead of as an expansion as I previously thought. This comes from the change to Marvel Villainous, but also, the game is designed for up to 4 players (instead of the 6 that Disney Villainous says despite there being 5 characters) and new gameplay elements are introduced. There are now 3 different game modes to help scale the game’s difficulty, “situations that take a heavy toll on villains,” and specialty cards that are supposed to “add to each evildoer’s ability.”
The game was designed by Prospero Hall and is being published by Ravensburger. Fans will be able to play Marvel Villainous on July 26 and you can pre-order the game from Target now. Which villain are you most excited to play as?
