August has been deemed Power Month by Hasbro as they turn their focus towards Power Rangers. One of the first big things to come from this month was the announcement of a new two-pack in the Lightning Collection starring Leonardo and Donatello from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles morphed as Power Rangers as seen in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Leonardo is the Blue Ranger but the weapons have adapted and become cool-looking katana and the Power Axe of the Black Ranger has a much longer handle for Donatello. These are really cool figures and are available now for pre-order for $52.99.
The other figures include the Power Rangers X Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Lightning Collection Michelangelo Yellow and April Pink Action Figures, which you can pre-order here and Power Rangers X Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Lightning Collection Foot Soldier Tommy and Raphael Red Action Figures, which you can pre-order here.
It is expected for the figures to ship out in November. The figures come with unmorphed heads for the two turtles, extra hands, and even some cool blast effects.
