New Clip From ELVIS and Priscilla Presley Shares Her Daughter's Reaction to Watching Baz Luhrmann's Biopic
Director Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic opens next month, and it looks truly incredible. It’s amazing how much Austin Butler looks and sounds like the iconic singer Elvis Presley, but while it’s easy for viewers to think so, it counts so much more coming from the family of the late king of rock n’ roll. Last week, the late singer’s wife Priscilla Presley shared her reaction to watching the movie, calling Butler’s performance outstanding, and the film brilliant.
Now, Priscilla has taken to social media again to share how much her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, loved it as well. She also shared that she knows her granddaughter, actress Riley Keough (Mad Max, Logan Lucky) will love it as well, saying:
“I’ve seen Elvis the film, I watched the trailer over a dozen times. But the words I heard from my daughter on how much she loved the film and that Riley will love it too when she sees it brought tears. I relived every moment in this film. It took me a few days to overcome the emotions as it did with Lisa. Beautifully done Baz, Tom, Austin and Olivia.”
