PRISON BREAK is Being Adapted Into a Manga
Remember that show Prison Break? Well, apparently, it’s getting adapted into a manga. According to ComicBook.com the characters and settings will not be changed and Hikosuke Soyama is in charge of the adaptation. Well this feels a little out of left field to me, but it’s a thing. The remaining parts of 20th Century Fox are reportedly overseeing the project.
“The manga tells the story of Michael, a man who is determined to save his older brother Lincoln from prison after being framed for murder. Armed with a plan, Michael enters the prison and tries to break out his brother from the inside.”
Keep in mind that this is not the first Western title to become a manga with the hit Sherlock getting an adaptation which is now being worked on for English audiences. That means that Western fans who don’t read Japanese will be able to read the Prison Break manga probably not too long after its launch in Japan.
What do you think of Prison Break getting a manga adaptation? Are you as shocked as me?
