Producer David Leitch Gives Update on Bob Odenkirk's NOBODY Sequel

Producer David Leitch is best known for producing the John Wick films, as well as the hit action flick Nobody, and directing Deadpool 2 and Bullet Train. He’s got a lot of projects on his plate, and THR recently caught up with him to talk about all of it. They asked what the probability was of a Nobody sequel, with Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk returning. Leitch said:

“I think that movie is going to happen. The will is there from Bob, the studio, the producers, Derek [Kolstad, the screenwriter] and ourselves. So we’re in development on it, like hard-core development on it, and I would place your bet on it.”

That’s good to hear! The first movie was a lot of fun, and there’s a lot more story that could be told in a sequel. In the first movie, Odenkirk played Hutch Mansell, a docile family man who slowly reveals his true character after his house gets burgled by two petty thieves, which, coincidentally, leads him into a bloody war with a Russian crime boss. He was joined in the cast by Connie Nielsen, Aleksey Serebryakov, Christopher Lloyd, RZA, and Colin Salmon.

Are you hoping there’s a sequel to Nobody?
