It sounds absurd, but the more you dig into it, the more it starts to look like a seriously cool fantasy epic that just happens to feature a feathered powerhouse.
The official description leans into the mythic fantasy angle: “Every legend has a beginning. Project Windless is a single-player open-world action RPG set in the universe of the acclaimed Korean fantasy novel series The Bird That Drinks Tears.

Developed by KRAFTON Montréal Studio, the game pulls from a beloved Korean fantasy series and drops players into a brutal, war-scarred world packed with large-scale combat and kingdom-shaping stakes.
If the gameplay delivers on that promise, this could end up being one of the more unexpected and awesome PS5 action RPG surprises on the horizon.
