Promo Spot For Donald Glover's ATLANTA Season 2 Perfectly Sets the Mood For Robbin' Season

A promo teaser just dropped for the second Season of FX's Atlanta. The promo doesn't offer any actual footage or story details from the series, but it certainly does a fantastic job at setting the tone and mood for what is to come. It also reveals that the sub-title for the second season is "Robbin' Season."

In a recent interview, creator, writer, and star of the series Donald Glover revealed that the series was inspired by Tiny Toons Adventures and that the story will be set during the holiday season right before Christmas and New Years. It's at the time of year where there is a boost of crime in the city. That's obviously the reason they are calling this next season "Robbin' Season."

The promo also comes with a vague description that reads, "In Atlanta Robbin' Season, two cousins work through the Atlanta music scene in order to better their lives and the lives of their families."

Atlanta also stars Zazie BeetzLakeith Stanfield and Brian Tyree Henry, and it's set to premiere on March 1st, 2018.

Atlanta Robbin' Season, the next season of the acclaimed and award-winning comedy series, will premiere on FX on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 10 pm ET/PT. In Atlanta Robbin' Season, two cousins work through the Atlanta music scene in order to better their lives and the lives of their families.
