Promo Spot For The Hour-Long SOUTH PARK "Pandemic Special"
South Park is set to return later this month with a special hour-long episode titled “The Pandemic Special”, for obvious reasons. Of course, South Park is going to address the current state of insanity that the world has been going through these past several months! There’s no way they were not going to go there!
The trailer starts off with Randy announcing a "Pandemic Special". He's talking about the episode itself as well as what we can expect to happen in the episode. Randy basically starts a business that profits from the coronavirus pandemic by seemingly selling face masks and tests.
As for the kids, they are dealing with the new social distancing measures and having to return to school in the middle of a pandemic where the classes are being run by the police. There’s no doubt that this is going to be a super entertaining and funny must-watch episode for fans.
Also, in case you didn’t know, HBO Max reportedly spent around $500 million acquiring the streaming rights to the series, which has been renewed for a further three seasons.
“The Pandemic Special” is set to premiere on Wednesday, September 30th at 8p ET on Comedy Central.
