Promo Spot for THE LAST OF US Season Finale - "We Finish What We Started"
HBO Max has released a new promo spot for the upcoming season finale of The Last of Us. Next week we’ll finally see how this first season comes to an end, and there’s no doubt it’s going to leave fans wanting more.
The ninth and final episode is titled “Look for the Light,” and it features Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) as they reach the last leg of their long and perilous journey. They will find themselves at base of the Fireflies in Salt Lake City, and they are dedicated to finishing what they started.
The episode was directed by Ali Abbasi from a screenplay written by series creators Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin.
The Last of Us takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed by a deadly virus. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone to the Fireflies, a cure-searching organization. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse across the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.
The next episode will premiere this Sunday, March 12th.
