PS4 is Getting EA Access This Summer

If you enjoy games made by EA and you own a PlayStation 4, I’ve got some good news for you. EA Access is coming to PS4 this July. For $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year, PS4 users will gain access to EA’s vault of games as well as early access to new games. There’s no word on how many games will be available, but it’s expected to be smaller than the roster for Xbox One users as the PS4 doesn’t feature backwards compatibility.

Xbox users have had access to EA Access since 2014 with the available library, or Vault, constantly growing.

It’s also interesting to note that back in 2014, Sony didn’t want the service as it “does not bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect... We don't think asking our fans to pay an additional $5 a month for this EA-specific program represents good value to the PlayStation gamer.” Interesting how times have changed in so many ways.

What do you think of EA Access making its way to PS4? What’s the first game you plan on loading up?
